The ceremony was attended by, among others, Jerzy Kwieciński, Minister of Investment and Development, Zbigniew Hoffmann, Wielkopolski Voivod, Norbert Książek, Chief Inspector of Construction Supervision, MPs and Senators of the Republic of Poland, Marshal Wojciech Jankowiak, Grzegorz Ganowicz, President of the City Council of Poznań and Vice-President Bartosz Guss.
Before announcing the results of the competition, Dr. Andrzej Boruszak presented the figure of the chief architect of the General National Exhibition and the outstanding Wielkopolska – Roger Sławski. Then, Minister Jerzy Kwieciński and President Marek Szczęsny presented the statuettes for 2018. The company was awarded the Aluplast sp. Z o. O.

The statuette in the category of education at the level of vocational and higher education as well as promotion of the latest technological, constructional and material solutions in construction received the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Technology. The statuette was collected by a deputy dean dr inż. arch. Agata Gawlak. The award in the category of Wielkopolska man of the year in construction received prof. dr hab. Eng. arch. Stanisław Sipiński.
